Travel policy as a basis for your travel management
The results of the Booking Engine can be interactively limited in accordance with company travel policies. A filtering function allows a complete hiding of offers. For example, offers from certain providers or prices which exceed fix expense limits can be hidden. Another option is to mark offers in accordance with the orange or red traffic light concept. Then, a booking can only be made with justification.
Depending on the business settings a pre-defined person, as in travel manager or supervisor, can be informed when a booking has been made in violation of company travel policy.
As an example we have put together a small selection of possible guidelines:
A flight can only be booked if it exceeds X amount of hours
Business class can be booked only if a flight exceeds X amount of hours
Flexible Flights can be booked only with justification
If population is less than 100,000 the price limit for hotels in Germany is € X
If population is less than 100,000 the price limit for hotels in Germany is € X
Rental cars can only be booked from X, Y, Z agencies
In case of passengers the vehicle category increases to ______
The flight booked can only be X% more expensive than the cheapest flight available at the time of booking
Any number of travel policies can be defined and categorized at staff, departmental or corporate level.
