Richard Thompson III. becomes International Business Development Manager

Atlatos, one of Germany’s leading providers of digital business travel management, is taking the next logical step toward internationalization: With Richard Thompson III., the company has gained a proven industry expert as International Business Development Manager, who will play a key role in driving forward its European expansion.

Richard Thompson III. spent many years in a senior position as Travel Manager at dm-drogerie markt GmbH + Co. KG and was also a member of the board of the German Travel Management Association (VDR). With his in-depth market knowledge, international network, and many years of experience, he is ideally qualified to successfully lead Atlatos into new European markets.

The expansion is a strategic milestone for Atlatos: More than 1,500 companies and 900,000 users in Germany already rely on the Atlatos Profi Traveller digital platform and the associated Expense Engine to manage and bill business trips efficiently, in compliance with regulations, and in a cost-optimized manner. Now the company wants to make its proven solution available to international customers as well—with local partners, market-specific adaptation, and professional sales.
